Renters you can do it. I thought that it could not be done with my credit score and history. However, Kevin and Darlene made it happen. I went to their office anticipating them telling me I need to clear up something before we could start the process. However, that did not happen based on my score(which was low) and their knowledge of the new laws and programs, I was able to start the process. Did I get the $2-300,000 house no, but I pay almost 50% less of what I was paying to rent. I am in a very nice area in the suburbs and my child will go to 5 star schools. That's good enough for me for now.
I was very happy with the service I received and the time that it took to be a new home owner, it took about 3months. I did not have to give them a dime until closing, and I really feel they should get paid more due to the foot work and the dedication they have to their clients. Darlene and Kevin's knowledge of the home- owners process is incredible. Therefore, you will not be taken advantage of by anyone. They are also personable and patient. When I walked into their office with my 3 months old who lit up their office, I did not anticipate starting to look for a house immediately.
